The pups are eight weeks old already. It's time for them to move on to their new homes. It will be bittersweet because they have been a lot of work, but also a tremendous joy in our lives. To make it even harder, the kids named them all several weeks ago. I tried to go on just calling them all "puppy", but the names eventually stuck in my brain.
This is "Junior" aka "Thud". He was the first born. He's a typical oldest child, very serious and in charge. He's a leader, for sure.
You all know "Lil Buddy". He is quite a tank. Despite his reputation, I think he is going to be a very good dog. He is the first to come running when I call them inside. He really pays attention to what I'm doing at all times and makes eye contact. I think he will be an easy one to train.

Another one you already know, "Woodrow". He is Mr. Mellow. You can usually find him snoring on his back while the other pups are playing. I think he knows he's staying.
This is the little girl, "Gracie". She is very smart and independent. She's the last one to come in when I call them, if she comes at all. Whenever we talk to her she does the head tilt thing back and forth. She reminds me alot of Sunny.

Talk about a hard thing to do... but probably for the best. I do know that I don't think I would want more then one pup in the puppy raising stage!
Although I have done all that I could to not have a favorite, I sadly have to report that Butter has always been my favorite. He's the one that was tugging on my shoe laces! Sheesh, I can't read this post again or I'll have to brainwash you into letting Tori keep Samster! I still think Woodrow is a great choice though. He is always such a sweetie when I'm around.
Man, I think I'd have a house with 6 puppies! I don't know how you're going to let any of them go. They are all so precious! And each one has his (her) own distinct personality...like trying to decide between your kids. Way too hard! I'd keep them all...maybe that's why I have a neutered cat??!!!
Oh, they are all so beautiful. What a difficult time this will be for you and your family - but I'm certain they will all find wonderful, loving homes - and hopefully, you'll be able to keep in touch with them all!
I've loved reading your descriptions of their personalities and antics!
I can't stand it!!!! Did Gracie go bye bye?
1 left to sell anyone want one?
